Cervical Medial Branch Block

A cervical medial branch block is a nonsurgical and in-patient procedure. An anesthetic is inserted over the medial branch nerve, that temporarily stops the transmission of pain signals from your facet joint. The injection is only done to diagnose pain. Once a doctor has segmented the pain, they can begin to address the root cause.
