Occipital Nerve Block

An occipital nerve block is a relatively easy procedure to perform that is used to suppress chronic headaches. A physician will use a needle to inject a solution in the area around the nerves that need to be helped. While the insertion of the needle is not painful, the infusion of the solution can cause temporary discomfort.

How It Helps

An occipital nerve block can help treat chronic headaches and cervical neck pain.
